Recently, my students talk a lot about this movie. to my surprise, female students seem to love it very much. female students worship the enchanting male leading character while male students just tell some sexual jokes about it. out of curiosity, i browsed introduction about this movie, which has been adapted from the novel, belongs to the genre of erotic literature (but not pornography), and is divided into three parts. Of course, this movie is about sadomasochism (SM), but, after reading the introduction, i am more interested in the background of Gray. What has happened in his early life to have led to his present sexual personality? (of course, as a human, i have to admit i love erotic literature if it is presented in an artistic way and that the sexy female actress also catches my eye....) well, i hope i can see this movie some day and enjoy it if possible....
