I had an all-day discussion session on the research topic of flight path optimization with two bright aeronautical engineers in NW airlines. I learnt a great deal of the real world operation in the aircraft flight path optimization as to reduce the fuel consumption to its maximum. Although I really enjoyed the discussion, I came to realize that I was so mentally burnt when the session ended. As a result, I am not feeling like to write the diary in Chinese.
I left DC that is covered by a blanket of thick snow yesterday afternoon and flew to Minneapolis. I checked in at a hotel that is close to the airport and located at Mall of America, the largest shopping mall in the US. (The largest one in the world is in Canada)
I will stay in Minneapolis until 26th and plan to get together with my high school pal, who is also my best friend on Earth, his wife, and their lovely daughter. ~o)
