隨著負責人剛踏入以自己家為祈禱所的愛主門徒○姊妹的家，她就熱心的接待，並如此陳述著，真是聽在耳裏、暖在心裏，也起了一陣的悸動及感觸。

弟兄姊妹見面時說「哈利路亞」，再見時互道「平安」，乃真教會信徒的特色，但如果只流於形式，掛在嘴邊，那就沒有什麼益處了（參雅二16，西三23）。

「神人『遠遠』的看見他……你『跑去』迎接他……你平安麼？你丈夫平安麼？孩子平安麼？」（王下四25～26）

「那家若配得平安，你們所『求』的平安就必……。」（太十13）

「你們要為耶路撒冷『求』平安。」（太十13）

猶太拉比有句箴言：「人要在審判的日子說明每一件他本來可以享有，但卻沒有享受到的善行。」當我們知道可以為別人求平安的善行而不去行時，這將是一種罪了。（參：雅四17）

「我勸你第一要為萬人懇求、禱告、代求、祝謝。」（提前二1）

「耶穌親自站在他們當中，說：願你們平安。」（路廿四36）
