1. nice not have to work; if i could, i'd not work but spend all day relaxing. so many books and films to read and watch; so much music to appreciate; so many activities to do in sunny so cal.; so cute a cat to cuddle with; learning new things with gusto...
2. new workout is fun and challenging; boxed last night for the 1st time; drenched in sweat in no time; nothing is easy even though it looks easy when others do it.
3. will lead the night hike next tue. as a temp host; will see how well i can handle it after a month of not doing the weeknight hikes; let's see if the MMA training benefits me in a form of more charged cardio hike and a faster recovery.
4. lots of chores to be done: health spending claim due by end of June; apply for the promotion for work; going back to see the docs for my knee and lip; prep and pack for trips and climbs; and the usual (cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping, etc..)
5. seriously, i don't know how the working mothers can manage to work full time, take care of kids/hubby/parents, and the never ending chores year in year out...
