Santana isn't on top of my all time favorite artists but when I was with the band, we had a few Santana staples on the playlist.
His songs are jam songs, can go on and on
and they are always crowd pleasers therefore we play them
however, i personally don't feel for them because i am a vocalist.
Santana is all about instrumental, guitar solos.
Europa isn't on our playlist, mainly because the band leader/guitarist can't do this song (he's not that good)
I have heard the tune somewhere somehow but did not know the name or who did it.
Now I know it's Santana's Europa.
It is very 70-ish.
A lot of 70's tunes are like make-out music, especially if you smoke some grass.
it's a vibe that can't be repeated today.
