LETTERS TO JULIET




蘇菲亞（亞曼達賽芙莉飾演）與未婚夫維特（蓋爾嘉西亞貝納飾演）打算在婚前先度蜜月，便從紐約來到莎翁筆下羅密歐與茱麗葉故鄉──義大利維洛納度假。蘇菲在這個被稱為「愛之都」的古城，即將發現一個真愛如何促使戀人勇敢逐愛，甚至顛覆傳統，改變自己一生的動人愛情故事。


任職於雜誌社的蘇菲，夢想著晉升為記者，維特則是位義大利餐廳主廚，正準備自立門戶開家自己夢想中的餐廳。結果原本預計的婚前浪漫之旅，卻因維特一直忙著為自己餐廳尋找完美食材而冷落蘇菲。


某日，蘇菲隻身前往維洛納當地著名的茱麗葉故居探訪，有很多來自世界各地的女人，都來到這裡寫信給茱麗葉傳達失戀之苦與對愛情的渴望。她發現這裡竟有一群自稱為「茱麗葉祕書」的婦女志工，專門以茱麗葉的名義，一封封回覆這些寫給茱麗葉的信。蘇菲在這裡找到了一封50年前，由克蕾兒（凡妮莎蕾格烈芙飾演）寫給茱麗葉的信，她在正值情竇初開的15歲少女時期，愛上了一位義大利青年，卻因父母反對而無法相守。蘇菲深受這封信打動，決定親自幫她回信。


結果令人意外的是，已當上祖母的克蕾兒，竟因蘇菲的回信而回來維洛納找尋她失散已久的愛人羅倫佐（法蘭科尼羅飾演）。克蕾兒在孫子查理（克里斯多夫伊根飾演）陪同下，帶著蘇菲一起踏遍風媚的托斯卡尼地區，鼓起勇氣去尋找這段曾經失之交臂的愛情。然而在陪伴克蕾兒去尋覓真愛的過程中，蘇菲也發現自己正在為自己的人生，撰寫另一個勇敢追愛的故事。
