You probably know that the Maya calender finishes in 2012. So it is going to be the end of the world? Honestly? Probably not! Nevertheless, as a year ends, another will bear new light and dreams. Every year we learn some important lessons in life and with that learning we put our step forward into the New Year.
On New Year s Eve, it s a party time for most people in the world. People gather together together with friends and beloved ones, eat great foods, dance to music, countdown seconds from 10 to 1 as the clock irreversibly passes from one year to the next.
Along with these traditional celebrations, all night long if you listen very carefully, you can hear a widespread murmur, the long litany of millions of people who at the same time take the opportunity of the New Year to resolve themselves into change. However, looking back how many of these changes have you accomplished this year? What will be your new ones for 2012? If you intend to make some of your dreams come true in the upcoming year, then you may want to pay attention to few pointers.
First of all, you do not with unrealistic things. Changes are hard to do, so be patient with yourself, and start with something small. Your chance of success will improve, giving you the confidence for more changes. Secondly, when you make your wishes let the people around you know that you ve made up your mind to reach certain goals, so that they can assist you or cheer you up when you sometimes fall to the downside. Then last but not the least, do not overdo your resolutions. Everybody s time and energy are limited, make sure that you have the ability to reach those goals nd then you just stick to it until you make it. If you have this firm attitude, then we believe that you will have your dream come true in this again brand new year.
