In junior high,I learned an old proverb,"A hard beginning makes a good ending." This line helped me through the hard time of my high school life.
I had been fooling around since I was a little child. Fortunately,I was smart enough to get good grades without studying hard. But in the third year of junior high,I had take tests almost every day. The teacher and the students all had the same goal-entering the best senior high schools in Changhua. However,to a playful student like me ,it was a great pain. I wasn t accustomed to such kind of change. Then one day,I decided to skip class and tried to find my freedom back. However,the teacher saw through ma mind. She told me that if I wanted to have a good ending in the future,I should study hard and endure the hard time. She told the story of a successful businessman. He was born in the countryside. In the beginning,he had nothing at all,no money,no rich family or friends,and even no much school education. Thinking of his poor conditions,I began to feel ashamed of myself.
Compared with him,I was just wasting my time. I thought if I didn t start to study hard now,I would miss the precious chance and feel deep regret sooner or later. Therefore,I made up my mind to work really hard on my studies. Finally,all my parents and teachers were proud of my growth and accomplishments. I think the proverb"A hard beginning makes a good ending"really influences me a lot.
