Dear Messy,
From the first mess
I knew you had some talent (mostly for making a mess).
The hard part now is to keep the dream everyday work toward it, even if its to draw another picture.
I have no idea what is in store for you in the next stage of your life but I hope you continue to create and make people happy.
My kids love their Messy Kim stuff and if nothing else you are famous to them.
It will be interesting to heat from you as you look back on your experience in graphics.
Remember, Anything is Possible.
Your teacher and friend
Richard Lee Hollinger.
My respond:
Dear Hollinger,
I don t know what to say to thank you, thank you for being a awesome teacher and friend and adviser. If i did not meet Richard Lee Hollinger in my sophomore year, and I am not the person as I am today.Through these 3 years, you have made my dream and my life. Nothing much to say but more than thank you, I really enjoy the time when I yell aloud "HOLLINGER!" and your "WHAT". I will not forget the time when you asked me to make Bay a shirt, I think it was the time when I really failed in love with graphics and settle it as my dream. I hope you will always have a wonderful time when you are are surfing, taking picture, taking care of your kids, coaching basketball, and grading! I really want you to go to Taiwan, it is a wonderful place and there a dozes of tiny Asian people!
Once again, thank you, hollinger, the best teacher and ever.
Messy Kim
(Ps. I promise i will buy a beach house for you when I am famous!)
