篇名: take a look
題目是My Best Friend。

My Best Friend  / 王敏蒨Bridget

What kind of person would you call your best friends?  Maybe you think that a best friend is someone who will listen to you, someone who looks cool, or someone who will give you gifts on your birthdays.  But to me, a best friend is someone who I can rely on, someone who I can turn to when I am in trouble, and someone who is always there for me no matter what.  I have so many good friends in my school, but my best friend is Angela.

She is kind.  We share our feelings with each other.  When I’m upset, she is there to cheer me up.  When I’m confused, she gives me some valuable advices.  No matter how she feels, she is always on my side.  One time, I don't remember why but I was really down.  At school, nobody noticed it.  Neither did Angela.  At least that's what I thought at the time.  I remember getting home and opening my backpack to get my homework out.  Instead, I found a jar of candies and a note from Angela.  It read, "when I was younger, a piece of candy cheered me up whenever I was down.  Now, dear Bridget, you have a whole jar of candies and me!  Don't be sad too long.  Be happy!"

We have a lot of beautiful memories in the elementary school.  And, we are going to the same junior high.  I hope our friendship can last forever.  Angela!  I still remember that you said that I am important to you.  And now, I’d like to tell you, “I’ll always be there for you, too. You are my best friend forever.”
