Something happened today during work and it scared me
I have been only working for a week at a extensive nursing station.
Still, same as usual, today was busy.
A patient of mine went into unconscious during hemodialysis treatment.
At first, She was pale white and had cold sweat, then went into coma.
I need to preform hypotension treatment which includes following procedures:
giving her normal saline and 100% oxygen, lowering her head,
and raising her feet in order to let her blood flow to the heart and increase cardiac output volume.
Even though same situation happened to my other patient before,
I was still scared to preform the procedure.
Fortunately, she woke up in 5 ~ 10 minutes.
She is so old that her heart is not doing well.
Everyone should take care their elders and make them feel comfortable in rest of their life.
Furthermore, everyone should take care about their own health and family.
