A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.
每天早上泡咖啡是誰的事,一位先生和太太為了這件事你一句我一句。
The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
太太說: 「應該由你泡, 你起得早, 你來泡我們就不必等那麼久才喝到咖啡。」
The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job,and I can just wait for my coffee."
先生說: 「家裡動鍋動爐的事都歸妳管, 理當妳來泡, 這本來就是妳的事, 我等一會兒沒關係。」
Wife replied, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."
太太回嘴: 「不, 應該你來泡咖啡, 何況聖經裡早有規定, 男人應該泡咖啡。」
Husband replied, "I can't believe that, show me."
先生說: 「少唬人了, 聖經拿來我看。」
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages that it indeed says: "HEBREWS."
於是太太把聖經拿來, 打開新約給先生看, 果然有好幾頁書眉有「他泡」(希伯來書) 的字樣。[8-}] |
