【Love at the little ghost lake】vocal by Rsrs Livulivuwan
It is a legend of the Rukai Tribe, a story about a girl and a snake falling in love
Once upon a time, there was a lake called little ghost in the woods of the Rukai Tribe. Sacred and mysterious, the lake became a taboo in the tribe. One day, a pretty girl called Balhenge sneaked into the lake in the woods with her friends to play, where she met a handsome boy.
As they slowly fell in love, the boy then confessed that he was actually a hundred pacer snake in human form and lived in the lake all the year round. Balhenge was shocked at first, but it didnt change her mind to love him. She even decided to marry him and live under the lake with him for the rest of her life.
Hearing the decision, all the villagers were sad because they knew Balhenge would leave her family and the tribe forever.
In the farewell wedding, Balhenge sang the song Love at the little ghost lake with her sorrow, and asked the villagers not to cry for her. And her mother sang the same tune in return as a promise of eternal love for her daughter.
