The weather changed this afternoon. After days of blazing sunshine that threatened to fry my poor skin, the rain finally came and cool off the earth. Finally I have some cool breeze. I like rainy nights (but not the thunders) because I will not have to listen to my neighbors noise coming from all directions.
Today is the second day of teaching at the high school. So far the classes went well. The students were friendly and I had little issue with the classroom management, although I caught one boy studying for his Social Studies test in my English class today. There were a few students who kept talking and distracting their neighbors no matter how many times I called their attention. Overall, the lessons went well, and the directing teacher really appreciated the learning activities I have designed for the lessons. Tomorrow I will be teaching my third lesson for Unit Ten. Hopefully by next week I will be able to complete Unit Ten with the second year class.
Speaking of lessons, I should continue work on my lesson plans and visuals for tomorrow s class. It is already 10:15pm, I should not waste any more time surfing net...
