15.立起帳幕的那日，有雲彩遮蓋帳幕，就是法櫃的帳幕；從晚上到早晨，雲彩在其上，形狀如火。
On the day the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant law, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.
16.常是這樣，雲彩遮蓋帳幕，夜間形狀如火。
That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire.
17.雲彩幾時從帳幕收上去，以色列人就幾時起行；雲彩在哪裏停住，以色列人就在那裏安營。
Whenever the cloud lifted from above the tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.
18.以色列人遵耶和華的吩咐起行，也遵耶和華的吩咐安營。雲彩在帳幕上停住幾時，他們就住營幾時。
At the LORD’s command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained in camp.
19.雲彩在帳幕上停留許多日子，以色列人就守耶和華所吩咐的不起行。
When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the LORD’s order and did not set out.
20.有時雲彩在帳幕上幾天，他們就照耶和華的吩咐住營，也照耶和華的吩咐起行。
Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the LORD’s command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out.
21.有時從晚上到早晨，有這雲彩在帳幕上；早晨雲彩收上去，他們就起行。有時晝夜雲彩停在帳幕上，收上去的時候，他們就起行。
Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.
22.雲彩停留在帳幕上，無論是兩天是一月是一年，以色列人就住營不起行；但雲彩收上去，他們就起行。
Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
23.他們遵耶和華的吩咐安營，也遵耶和華的吩咐起行。他們守耶和華所吩咐的，都是憑耶和華吩咐摩西的。
At the LORD’s command they encamped, and at the LORD’s command they set out. They obeyed the LORD’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.
