過去的錯誤我們沒辦法參與，但我們能改變未來。僅以今天的行動，來提醒台灣人民，台灣不曾被光復，71年前的10月25日中華民國到來是再淪陷的開始。同時我們在此向全世界宣示，有一群台灣人不願意接受這個佈滿歷史傷痕的現狀，我們要拿回自決的權利，我們要建立自己的國家。
1025 Action statement of Taiwan restoration operation team
The nationalist government was defeated in the Chinese civil war in 1945, and the nationalist government retreated from mainland China to Taiwan which was instructed by U.S.A. government. It has been 71 years already Taiwanese people lost their opportunity to build their national consensus 71 years ago. The people who lives on this island has missed their opportunity to build a new nation. Taiwanese people were not been told the truth, and had made wrong decision in the past. They were ripped economically, and this has caused the result of social classification. They have been forced to accept to be named “Chinese” instead of Taiwanese, so they have shown less recognition to the land. Their language was downgraded to local dialect and for a long time this language has been regarded a symbol of “uncivilized”. The process of democracy after martial law has transformed to another kind of ruling tool of mocking. Taiwanese people must not be satisfied by current political situation as the ruling part is from local. We will not be able to remove the lies of education, will not able to demonstrate true democracy if our own country is not built. In this case, our survival and our fate will always only be bargainingchips between government and capitalism.
Today, the 25th, October 2016. We gather in front of the president hall to protest. We express our determination that we will accept no more lies. The people who lives on this island should have their own chance to make their own decisions. We are here in front of the president hall, to show our motivation and we are going to prove this motivation by our determinations and actions. We mourn the tragedies had happened in the past 71 years. We couldn’t participate what has happened in the past, but we can change the future. We want to remind the public by our actions today that we have never been restored. We believe that the island had fallen again 71 years ago when the nationalist government retreated from mainland China. We hereby declare that there is a group of Taiwanese people who will never accept current political condition of Taiwan.
WE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR OWN RIGHT OF SELF-DETERMINATION. WE NEED TO BUILD OUR OWN NATION.
