It has been a very busy week for me...teaching high school sophomore class is not an easy job. Sometimes the students are rebellious just for the sake of being rebellious teenagers [:|]
This morning my Field Experience I lecturer went to evaluate my lesson...thank God my students did not give me any trouble this morning or the evaluation would look bad.
I got a B for the lesson. I was hoping for at least an A-....but I know I did my best already. I was sick from Monday (or Tuesday). Ever took a class with a teacher who had sinus and sore throat (hoarse voice)? I bet my students were wondering why I sounded so strange and funny these days...Thank God I am starting to recover now.
Although I was still sick this morning, I managed to trick my students.
The first thing I said when I stepped into the 2Y2 class was: "students, take out a sheet of paper and a pen."
I wrote on the white board: Unit 11 Quiz One.
Some students immediately began to grumble and complain that they weren t prepared for a quiz yet...
I waited until everyone had taken out a folder sheet and a pen. When they began to write their headings, I turned and wrote this on the board:
"Happy All Fool s Day"
....you should have seen their expressions! That just made my day!
