So many buildings toppled. The highway was twisted. It made me feel sad. The nataural disaster was ruthless and we couldn't prevent it. The whole of Taiwan's people contributed their money,blood,food or blankets to the victims. There were a lot of rescue teams and sniffer dogs from different countries. Everybody participated in rescue efforts directly or indirectly. This event resulted in so many people homeless, tourist industry recession,electric companies production stoodstill and stock market slumped. On the other side, people helped each other, everyone gave full cooperation to turn peril into safety.They were commendable because it was hard to achieve. Now,everybody knows the safety measures of building materials and how to reply when an earthquake happens. They are important we have to learn.
