Tablets Like the First Ones
第十章 Deuteronomy 10
1.「那時，耶和華吩咐我說：『你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，上山到我這裏來，又要做一木櫃。
At that time the LORD said to me, 「Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones and come up to me on the mountain. Also make a wooden ark.[a]

2.你先前摔破的那版，其上的字我要寫在這版上；你要將這版放在櫃中。』
I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Then you are to put them in the ark.」
3.於是我用皂莢木做了一櫃，又鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，手裏拿這兩塊版上山去了。
So I made the ark out of acacia wood and chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hands.
4.耶和華將那大會之日、在山上從火中所傳與你們的十條誡，照先前所寫的，寫在這版上，將版交給我了。
The LORD wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.
5.我轉身下山，將這版放在我所做的櫃中，現今還在那裏，正如耶和華所吩咐我的。（
Then I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made, as the LORD commanded me, and they are there now.
6.以色列人從比羅比尼．亞干【或譯：亞干井】起行，到了摩西拉。亞倫死在那裏，就葬在那裏。他兒子以利亞撒接續他供祭司的職分。
(The Israelites traveled from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son succeeded him as priest.
7.他們從那裏起行，到了谷歌大，又從古歌大到了有溪水之地的約巴他。
From there they traveled to Gudgodah and on to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.
8.那時，耶和華將利未支派分別出來，擡耶和華的約櫃，又侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。
At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the Lord to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today.
9.所以利未人在他弟兄中無分無業，耶和華是他的產業，正如耶和華你 神所應許他的。）
That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the LORD is their inheritance, as the LORD your God told them.)
10.我又像從前在山上住了四十晝夜。那次耶和華也應允我，不忍將你滅絕。
Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the LORD listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.
11.耶和華吩咐我說：『你起來引導這百姓，使他們進去得我向他們列祖起誓應許所賜之地。』
「Go,」 the LORD said to me, 「and lead the people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.」 |
