18.「你們要將我這話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
19.也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論；
Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
20.又要寫在房屋的門框上，並城門上，
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,
21.使你們和你們子孫的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們的地上得以增多，如天覆地的日子那樣多。
so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.
22.你們若留意謹守遵行我所吩咐這一切的誡命，愛耶和華你們的 神，行他的道，專靠他，
If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him—
23.他必從你們面前趕出這一切的國民，就是比你們更大更強的國民，你們也要得他們的地。
then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.
24.凡你們腳掌所踏之地都必歸你們；從曠野和利巴嫩，並伯拉大河，直到西海，都要作你們的境界。
Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.
25.必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華你們的 神必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。
No one will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.
