Someone ever said "Writing diary here is just to express and record your feeling and what happen", I totally agree with it. Here is somthing about my holy spirit life, if you are not interested, you can visit my other things and close this screen.
I was born as a Catholic, we lived in Taipei 眷村, so our whole community went to the same Catholic church. (don t know if it is like this at present time). I remember the best thing to the church is we can playe lots of games, have lots of snacks, even attend some trips. So we went to church every Sunday to worship the God. Until we moved to Yung-Ho, we stop going church since there was no church we liked and felt comfortable. Until I went to my university, I list my religion in new student
s registratation card, lots of brothers and sisters invited me to the church outside of our campus (cross the street), then start my 4 years Catholic life, I really enjoyed it, attending 靈修, 避靜, lots of activities. After graduated, went to army, coming to US, my holy splitual life is blank again.
In USA,I ever tried to join different American christian and Catholic church, but either my English was not good enough (can t catch what preacher or Father s preach) or just don t felt like belonging there. I stopped again.
Until this year with my unhappy life, I searched for help and peace to ease my sorrow, dismay, finally with my only Chinese neighbor friend here, I went to this Chinese Catholic church in Fremont, CA. Right after I went into this church and start my first Mass, I tell myslef, this is it, this is where I belong. Like a lost sheep finds his warm home.
July took both sons to church group camping, they knew lots of same age boys and girls, they liked it.
I never forced my boys to go to church with me, they have their choice, they will go when they feel it is ready. I am blessed, my elder son liked the atmosphere of our church (I guess his friends attracted him more, ha), he started to go to church with me every Sunday.
Now he even will join the youth bible studay and 慕道班, I am so happy he is willing to welcome god to his heart at his own will.
Have to study Bible now, tomorrow night we will have every Friday s Bible study. Beside regaining the joy from this web site, I need to enrich my holy spiritual life. |
