Rod Stewart年輕時的志向是當一名頂尖的足球員 , 但一次意外的運動傷害讓他不得不中斷足球夢 , 他只好藉著養傷期間彈吉他唱唱歌 , 沒想到卻唱出興趣來 , 從此便朝向歌星夢前進 , 終於造就出一位舉世聞名的歌手。
Rod Stewart 的全盛時期是在 70 年代 , 當時他發行的專輯及單曲在排行榜上都獲得優異的成績 , 而他狂放不羈的外表及搖滾味濃厚的歌曲更是受到青少年的歡迎。
