第四章 Ruth 4
1.波阿斯到了城門，坐在那裏，恰巧波阿斯所說的那至近的親屬經過。波阿斯說：「某人哪，你來坐在這裏。」他就來坐下。
Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat down there just as the guardian-redeemer[a] he had mentioned came along. Boaz said, “Come over here, my friend, and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.

Boaz took ten of the elders of the town and said, 「Sit here,」 and they did so.
3.波阿斯對那至近的親屬說：「從摩押地回來的拿俄米，現在要賣我們族兄以利米勒的那塊地；
Then he said to the guardian-redeemer, 「Naomi, who has come back from Moab, is selling the piece of land that belonged to our relative Elimelek.
4.我想當贖那塊地的是你，其次是我，以外再沒有別人了。你可以在這裏的人面前和我本國的長老面前說明，你若肯贖就贖，若不肯贖就告訴我。」那人回答說：「我肯贖。」
I thought I should bring the matter to your attention and suggest that you buy it in the presence of these seated here and in the presence of the elders of my people. If you will redeem it, do so. But if you[b] will not, tell me, so I will know. For no one has the right to do it except you, and I am next in line.」 「I will redeem it,」 he said.
