Don t know what caused the culture shock. I did feel shocked when one of my co-workers told me a bunch of rules in the school. The school s culture is nothing have had encountered.
Rules:
1. No chatting to co-workers.
2. No eating in front of parents.
3. No talking to the director directly. ( Otherwise, the director will be pissed.)
4. Do not be late otherwise deduct money from the salary.
......
I kind of understand the rule number 4. The other 3 are beyond my understandings.
Any way, I was doing things that I don t enjoy doing. Am I too American for Taiwan? Too Taiwanese for America? Or just the job is not for me?
Life is too short to be misrable. Move on to the new journey.
