It has been a scorcher. I often go to lake to get some breezes. Nice breezes by the lake. I dig in the book collections that my roommate has. Yesterday I was reading, "Ask your guides connecting to your divine support system". Unfortunatelly, the book is in Chinese. I prefer to read books in English. However, the local library does not have a great book collection. So what I have been doing is reading whatever is in the apartament.
One sad thing is Borders, the second biggest chain bookstore in the U.S, is going out of business. All 400 stores will be closed for good and 1,1000 jobs will be gone. Borders will step into the histroy. I like bookstores. They offer people a place to quiet their mind. Now Internet has changed people s life dramatically. People could download e-books from Internet. I cannot say it s good or bad. Mabye it s all better for the environment in the long run. Maybe in the future, not trees will be cut down to make books.
"Apple" has changed our life. It makes our life easier and also the crime rate of "Apple picking" has increased in CTA (subway in Chicago"). Apple picking here means more people got robbed for their smart phones.
Going lake again today. Might take a dip as well. All is well.
