Ben had a fever today. I took his rectal temperature several times, and it didn’t look good. So I gave him some baby Tylenol and also sponge bath. I called Andy at work, and he came home early to take Ben to the hospital near by. Ben seemed in a good mood even though he had a temperature. We couldn’t get him to see a pediatrician today without making an appointment first. Andy didn’t think Ben needed to go to ER. I am going back with Ben on Tuesday morning to see a regular doctor. I am emotionally drained today. Being a parent is not an easy job when the child is not well.
