(中央社台北27日電)有人說兒子是母親的前世情人,母親是兒子生命中的第一個女人,肚子裡懷了寶寶,就注定了母子間的牽絆,而母親對兒子的掛念是永不止息,科學家可能已找出這背後的原因。
倫敦「每日郵報」報導,科學家認為,女生若懷了兒子,兒子的細胞會先滲透入母體,再進入母親腦部,之後寶寶的男性DNA數十年都不會消去。

雖然無法證明婦女會因此變得較為陽剛,但這對母親健康可能有重要意義。美國科學家檢驗59名婦女的腦部標本,這些婦女逝世年齡介於32至101歲。

2/3的腦部標本都檢驗出1個男性Y染色體才有的基因,這個基因應該只會在男生身上發現。
西雅圖賀勤森癌症研究中心(Fred HutchinsonCancer Research Center)研究員表示,最有可能的解釋是,婦女懷胎時,兒子的這個基因傳送給母親。
同樣的,母親透過胎盤把氧氣及養分傳送給胎兒,而細胞也朝反方向移動。
研究顯示,胎兒的細胞會存在母親體內好幾十年,因為科學家在1名94歲婦女的腦部標本中,發現男性DNA。

科學家猜想,女胎兒也會在母親腦部留下蹤跡,但這方面的試驗困難度較高。
研究刊登在「公共科學圖書館期刊」(PLoS ONE)上,這是科學家首度在婦女腦部找到男性DNA。如果說這種現象真的造成甚麼影響的話,目前還無法判定。
胎兒一小部分細胞遺留在母體內的現象稱為微嵌合(microchimerism),這或許能藉由提升免疫反應,幫助婦女抵禦乳癌,也可能有助於緩解類風濕關節炎及修復受損組織。
